FAQ
Bookings
We are a small restaurant so book in advance, especially if
it’s for a large booking or a special occasion.
We take bookings for lunch and dinner everyday except for
Saturday daytime.
Large Bookings
Max 12 except for Friday Evening and Saturday
Evening.
Max of 6 on Friday Evening and Saturday Evening
For 6 people or over there will be a 10% service charge.
Please let us know if you can’t make your booking or you will
be late. We can hold the table for 15 minutes.
Invitation Cards
We accept invitation cards (except Saturdays) and you must book in advance.
Special Occasions
For birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations we can decorate your table, make a cake, provide organic bubbles. Ask for our intimate alcove table which seats 4.
Birthday Cakes
We make birthday cakes, with a choice of flavours that can be vegan or gluten free (from £20), need to be ordered at least a week in advance.
Gift Vouchers
Introduce a friend to Demuths. Gift vouchers available from £10 to £50 towards a meal at Demuths.
Children
Children are very welcome at Demuths in the daytime and early
evening, up until 7pm. We have a kids menu for children under 12
years old and we will make smaller portions of dishes from the main
menu.
There are crayons and colouring books.
For babies and toddlers we have a high chair and a booster
seat.
Unfortunately we do not at present have space for changing
facilities.
Access
The restaurant is in a Grade 1 Georgian building with 2 steps up to the front door and the toilets are downstairs.
Dietary
For those with very specific dietary requirements, please let us
know at least two days advance when you book, so that we can be
prepared.
We have plenty of vegan dishes and some gluten-free dishes and are
famous for our vegan chocolate cake! We are also happy to cater for
those on special diets or for those with allergies to certain
foods. For this purpose we keep a list of all the ingredients used
in the preparation of the dishes we make but we rely on you to
inform us in advance of any dietary requirement or allergy.
As we cook with dairy products, nuts, wheat flour and other such
ingredients that people may be allergic to, there remains a
possibility that cross contamination may occur even if you do
inform us of a particular allergy that you may have.
Mobile Phones
For consideration of our customers, please keep your mobile
phone on silent in the restaurant.
