About the food
We are proud of the fact that all our food is freshly prepared to order. Furthermore, where possible our ingredients are locally sourced, fair-trade and organic.
Our Suppliers
Vegetables are the most important ingredients at demuths and we rely on our suppliers Eades Greengrocers and Castle Farm Organics for growing us the freshest vegetables.
Our beautiful bread is always vegan and comes from the Thoughtful Bread Company, our coffee is supplied by Union Coffee Roasters, and is fair trade and organic.
Essential Trading supplies all our organic, ethically traded wholefoods and Vintage Roots our selection of organic wine, much of which is suitable for vegans as well as vegetarians.
A Word On Special Diets
We have plenty of vegan dishes and are famous for our vegan
chocolate cake!
We are also happy to cater for those on special diets or for those
with allergies to certain foods. For this purpose we keep a list of
all the ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes we
make.
You must inform us in advance of any dietary requirement or allergy
before ordering your meal.
We can provide wheat free and gluten free bread, on request.
As we cook with dairy products, nuts, wheat flour and other such
ingredients that people may be allergic to, there remains a
possibility that cross contamination may occur even if you do
inform us of a particular allergy that you may have.
We can not take any responsibility if you do not inform us of your
allergy or if cross contamination occurs.
