About the food
We are proud of the fact that all our food is freshly prepared to order. Where possible, our ingredients are locally sourced, fairtrade and organic.
Our Suppliers
Vegetables are the most important ingredients at Demuths and we rely on our suppliers Eades Greengrocers and Castle Farm Organics for the freshest vegetables.
Our beautiful bread is always vegan and comes from the Thoughtful Bread Company. Our innovative selection of teas is provided by Lahloo Tea. Our high-quality coffee is supplied by Extract Coffee.
Essential Trading supplies all our organic and ethically traded wholefoods. Vintage Roots provides our selection of organic and vegetarian wine, much of which is suitable for vegans and is biodynamic.
A Word On Special Diets
We have plenty of vegan and gluten-free dishes!
We are also happy to cater for those on special diets or for those with allergies to certain foods. For this purpose we keep a list of all the ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes we make.
You must inform us in advance of any dietary requirement or allergy before ordering your meal. It is also advisable to phone the restaurant beforehand to confirm that we can cater for you.
We can provide wheat-free and gluten-free bread on request.
As we cook with dairy products, nuts, wheat, flour and other such ingredients that people may be allergic to, there remains a possibility that cross-contamination may occur even if you do inform us of a particular allergy that you may have.
We cannot take any responsibility if you do not inform us of your allergy or if cross-contamination occurs.
