Foraci - IGT Sicilia Sollatio Bianca - Sicily 2005/6 v
A cheerful, fruity wine blended from indigenous Sicilian varieties: Damashino, Grillo and Inzolia. Delightful floral aromas combine with delicious ripe grapefruit on the palate. It has zesty acidity and a dry finish.

Familia Zuccardi - Santa Julia Organica Torrontés - Argentina 2006 vg
An attractive white wine from the unusual Torrontés grape variety that flourishes in Argentina. It has an appealing floral aroma with a hint of almond and delicious ripe pear on the palate plus fresh acidity. It finishes just off-dry.

Touchstone - Pinot Grigio - Italy 2005 vg
A lively aromatic white produced in the northeastern Fruili Grave region. It has a gently floral nose with hints of honeysuckle. The palate is bursting with ripe apple and succulent white peach flavours balanced by zesty acidity and a gentle spritz, with an off-dry finish.

VDP d’Oc Viognier - St Paul- France 2005 £16.50 vg
An easy-drinking Viognier from Southern France, with apricot orchard fruits on the nose. It is pleasantly soft and rounded with a silky mouthfeel and smooth balanced acidity. It has an off-dry finish.

Moncaro Geos - DOC Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi - Italy 2005 £17.95 vg

A super nutty white sourced from Verdicchio grapes grown in the Marches hills. Hazelnut aromas compliment waxy melon fruit, with mellow acidity and a soft rounded finish.

Davenport Vineyards - Horsmonden Dry - England 2006 £17.95 vg
A excellent English wine from one of the country's leading wineries based in southeast England's High Weald. Ortega grapes form the backbone of this blend. Its delicate aroma of freshly mown grass marries gooseberry and melon fruit on the palate. It is very dry, with racy lime acidity.

Jasci - Trebbianno - Italy 2005 £18.50 vg
Pale gold with super-fresh aromas and ripe, white peach and citrus flavours. Lively and refreshing, but with real depth and concentration from an excellent new organic producer.

Five Plots - Chardonnay/Semillon - Australia 2005 £18.65 vg

Bright, crisp & fruity with lots of lush tropical fruit flavours, mango and papaya. This popular white is bursting with flavour from ripe Chardonnay and Semillon grapes. This wine breathes warmth and has a summery feel to it.

VOE - Novas Sauvignon Blanc - Casablanca Valley - Chile 2005 £19.95 bio vg
A classic Sauvignon Blanc made by Alvaro Espinoza who is committed to both organic and biodynamic viticulture. A slightly tropical nose precedes delicious ripe grapefruit flavours and refreshing acidity. It is dry with a zesty finish.

Millton Vineyards - Gisborne - Chardonnay - New Zealand 2004/05 £22.90 bio v
An exceptional biodynamic wine from this leading Gisborne producer. Extremely elegant, with delicious ripe peach and coxes apple fruit, plus honeyed notes and ginger spice. A perfectly balanced, seamless wine with well-integrated oak, a silky mouth feel and lingering finish.

Domaine Philippe Goulley - AOC Petit Chablis - France 2005 £24.20 vg
An exemplary Petit Chablis from a reputable producer. This is classic un-oaked Chardonnay at its best. It is focused with pure apple flavours, citrus notes plus an edge of minerality. It is dry with balanced acidity and exceptional length.

Albet i Noya - DO Penedès Pinot Noir/Merlot Classic Rosat - Spain 2005 vg
This pioneering estate makes a cheerful, fruity rosé from 75 % Merlot and 25% Pinot Noir. Its bright raspberry colour is reminiscent of aromas on the nose. This lovely fragrant wine is laden with summer berry fruit and soft fresh acidity.

Domaine Jas d'Esclans - AOC Côtes de Provence Rosé - France 2005 £18.95 vg
An exceptional Provencal rosé made from Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan and Syrah grapes. Its beautiful salmon-pink colour and appealing aroma of crushed strawberries are enticing. It is very elegant with soft summer fruits and balanced lemon acidity. It has a dry lingering finish.

Mont'albano - IGT Prosecco NV - Italy vg
A delicious, crisp, lightly sparkling wine made from the Prosecco grape, grown in northeast Italy. It has a delicate floral aroma, refreshing acidity and lemon sherbet flavours. Wonderfully easy-drinking, this makes a perfect aperitif.

Albet i Noya - DO Cava Brut Reserva NV - Spain £20.95 vg
An attractive alternative to Champagne from the Penedès region, near Barcelona. It is made by the traditional method using local varieties Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada plus some Chardonnay. Soft citrus fruits combine with a mellow nuttiness and balanced acidity. It has a long dry finish.

Champagne Fleury - AOC Champagne, Carte Rouge NV - France bio vg
An excellent biodynamic Champagne made from 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay. It is multi-layered with delicious apple compote fruit and biscuity notes. Its complexity comes from ageing on the lees, with integrated acidity and a lingering finish.

Chateau Richard - AOC Saussignac Tradition - France 2002 vg
A delicious sweet wine made from exceptionally ripe Semillon and Muscadelle grapes, enriched by noble rot. It comes from the Bergerac region, west of Monbazillac. Its deep golden colour and delicate orange blossom aroma combines with honey and ripe papaya on the palate.

Foraci - IGT Sollatio Rosso - Sicily 2006 vg
A cheerful, fruity red made from indigenous Sicilian variety: Nero d'Avola. Brimming with spicy black fruit and smooth tannins. An easy-drinking, approachable wine, ideal for any dish. Very appealing!

Fasoli Gino - DOC Valpolicella - Veneto - Italy 2005 vg
Classic unoaked Valpolicella from a meticulous producer in NE Italy. Hand-picked Corvina and Rondinella grapes combine to give soft summer berry fruits on the nose. Light-bodied and very drinkable.

Touchstone - Merlot Chile 2005 vg
Delicious, concentrated Merlot sourced from carefully selected grapes. Its deep ruby colour and delicious ripe plum fruit make it an appealing wine. Medium to full bodied with well-rounded tannins and good length.

Sonop - Organic Terroir Pinotage, South Africa 2006 £17.95 vg
This Fairtrade wine is sourced from vineyards that benefit the local community through profit-sharing schemes. A typical Pinotage with soft supple fruit and earthy tannins. It is light-bodied.

OVA- Jamberoo Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon - Australia 2003/4 £18.25 vg
An excellent bold juicy wine from the southern hemisphere. Juicy blackberry flavours combine with minty, eucalyptus on the nose. Smooth tannins, medium to full-bodied with an appealing finish. Delicious!

Adobe - Carmenere - Chile 2004 £18.50 vg
Carmenère is a Bordeaux export but one that the Chileans have made their own. As a grape variety it thrives in the pure air and perfect vine-growing conditions. The wine has heaps of autumnal hedgerow berry fruits and fine tannins. Plenty of flavour but not too heavy.

Domaine Montmija - AOC Corbières Crus Signés - France 2003/4 £18.95 v
An excellent wine combining Carignan, Grenache and Syrah sourced from family-owned vineyards, in the south of France. It has an attractive berry aroma alongside cedar and herbal notes. Ripe blackberry fruit is edged with rosemary and hints of vanilla spice.

Buradon - Palacios Duque - DO Rioja - Spain 2004 £19.95 vg
For Rioja lovers! This classic Tempranillo is full of ripe cherry fruit and smooth tannins with hint of vanilla-laced oak. It is medium bodied with good balance and a long finish.

Jasci - DOC Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Rosso - Italy 2005 £21.00 vg
Delicious dark berry fruits combine with vanilla notes to form a full-bodied wine with fine tannins and well-integrated oak. Smooth and sophisticated.

Meinklang - Pinot Noir - Burgenland - Austria 2004 £24.20 vg
A charming, easy-drinking Pinot Noir from vineyards planted near the Neusiedlersee Lake on the Hungarian border. It has a delicately floral nose - hints of violet accompany raspberries and fresh cherries on the palate. It is light-bodied with supple tannins and a pleasant fruity finish.

Buondonno - DOCG Chianti Classico - Italy 2004 £26.95 vg
This stunning wine from the heart of Chianti country is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. It has an attractive ruby colour and inviting blackberry aroma, laced with hints of spice. It is medium to full bodied and nicely balanced with silky smooth tannins and a very elegant finish.
